CONTAINIT

To collectively engage our local community as a whole to create positive change for the impoverished peoples of this world using sustainable methods for the glory of Jesus Christ
ABOUT US

ContainIt is a student-led initiative that takes used shipping containers and turns them into transitional housing units for the Lakota Indians of Pine Ridge, South Dakota and Sustainable housing units for the Homeless in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are based out of Covenant Day School in Matthews, North Carolina. Our goal is to not only help the Lakota Indians and bring the good news of the Gospel to the reservation, but also bring this light and hope to those who are homeless in North Carolina and through sustainable housing. We strive to bring the light of Jesus Christ out to the people who live in the darkness.

Sponsors

We would love to thank our sponsors who have helped us make this project successful. Without them and their desire to please the Lord, we would not have the necessary skills or tool required to build the containers. Our sponsors have come in and trained our students in construction, engineering, architecture, and finance. Along with donating their time, they have also given us the supplies needed to build the containers! We cannot thank them enough for all they have done!
